                     Volunteering opportunities at the Sunshine Coast Visitor Information Centres
 
 
Residents who have an active interest in the local community have the opportunity to promote our beautiful Sunshine Coast to tourists and locals alike.
Sunshine Coast Council’s Visitor Information Centres are open seven days a week and are located at the following locations:
  • Coolum
  • Sunshine Coast Airport
  • Maroochydore
  • Mooloolaba
  • Kawana
  • Bulcock Street and Caloundra Road (Caloundra)
  • Glasshouse Mountains &
  • Montville
Visitor Information Centre volunteer responsibilities may include:
  • Assisting” walk-in” tourists and locals requiring more information about the Sunshine Coast including;
    • Local attractions, restaurants, markets and locally run activities
    • Promoting the Sunshine Coast's natural environment including beaches, mountains and walking trails
    • Promoting all Sunshine Coast events
    • Promoting local accommodation
  • Collecting visitor statistics
  • Handling telephone enquiries and
  • Assisting with general administrations tasks
